Amazing Agent Luna Vol. 6 - The Evolution of a Cover

Presenting the evolution of Amazing Agent Luna Vol. 6's cover from initial sketch art to final cover.
1.) It all starts with an initial pencil sketch from Shiei. The general idea was to show off Luna in her Ninja Suit and also show off two of Volume 6's new characters--Jia Lin and the Knight Errant.
2.) From there, Shiei goes does an inked version of her art.
3.) Here we have some of the initial coloring and guide colors.
4.) Here Shiei went back to her original inks and did some quick resketching as we realized that the fade aspect of the cover didn't offer Luna enough prominence as the foreground character. Shiei also gave the Knight a dynamic new pose that fully shows off his sword.
5.) And here we have the final cover in all its vibrant glory.
